Hy I often need to run survey for my eCommerce website. Most of the time I use Google Form and sometimes Qualtrics. Qualtrics has reporting option. But problem is I want to combine multiple surveys into one survey from different time so that I can visualize survey data in one dashboard.
I get new survey data every month so its difficult for me to get true report. I have decided to Use Qlik.
Now the question is will I combine all csv files into one and then upload or connect to Qlik?
Will I need to do some cleaning in csv file as data from different survey forms?
Thanks
Hi @jason016
We wish all the best experiencing Qlik, now addressing your questions.
Q1. Will I combine all csv files into one and then upload or connect to Qlik?
You do not have to combine all the CSV files; Qlik can combine the data as you load each CSV; you could also build a surveys history in your QVD.
Q2. Will I need to do some cleaning in csv file as data from different survey forms?
All your data cleansing logic could be part of your Qlik Load Script; the load script could implement the logic to combine your surveys data, and map columns names; overall your load script could have different sections: Load CSV è Clean Survey è Combine and Save Survey
Hope this helps,
Hi jason I think you already got the answer from ArnadoSandoval. However if you are new to Qlik there are many tutorials and resources that you can follow. You need to prep and clean your survey data so that data is ready for visualization. You can also use VizualSurvey which will complete the data cleaning process and you can start visualizing survey data in prebuilt dashboard of qlik.
