What happens when two rules contradict each other? (e.g One rule allows access but another blocks access)

Hello all,

What would happen when two rules contradict each other?

E.g. Let's say you had one rule to allow access to Users from a Management group, but another rule says allow anyone except Management group users?

The security rules are positive rules. The one giving access wins.

Security rules evaluation ‒ Qlik Sense

As a better example we sometimes allow sheets only for certain people.

We have to:

1. disable the rule to give sheet access to everyone

2. enable the rule to only give sheet access if they are allowed to.

If you only apply rule 2 everyone will still have access...

Kind Regards,

Dion
