What would be source in qwf/qvw for transactional data

I know we use qvd for faster data access..and we refresh it periodically like daily or weekly or monthly basis when our actual source tables loaded periodically...

But if we have a transactional database, which always keeps on updated like ATM, in this case I think using qvd will not be a good choice as we need to refresh qvd and qvf/qvw...

In this case should we use only qvf /qvw and point directly to source database  instead of qvd? Or we have any other option.

Even in a high volume / frequent reload scenario, it's usually still best to use an intermediate QVD layer. It gives you many more options for managing reload performance, such as using incremental loads.
