Wiered Behaviour

Hi All, 

I am new to QlikSense  i am trying to a KPI by sum of (values) and the output is showing me  as 0 .

I tested this for 2 fields  but still it shows zero .  ( There are lots of vlues in the fields i tested for sum() but the out put is zero in QlikSense . and this works perfectly in QlikView . Is there a different way to handle this in QlikSense?

can you attach with sample and expected output please?

other way.  take new qliksense application.

just add those fields in list box and  add one straight table   add one dimension and expression as sum(Sales)

Hi Chanty , 

I am using our org hub therefore could not attach the file and i dont have desktop version with me ,. Any ways 

Let me brief you that i am accessing the data from Mysql and the data format is like below for two columns.

in a KPI I am trying to using Sum(A) the output is 0 (zero) and  tried with the other column  sum (B) the output is still 0  say for example i consider the second column as B then sum(B) the output should be like 1958

can you add this  B or A column  in a table box along with any one dimension and create a chat and see ?

I tried that with a pivot table and it gives all the list of dimension and in expression every row has 0 entry .

Should I convert some number format ?
