active directory user directory connectors stopped working in v3?

We recently upgraded from v2.2.4 to v3.0.3. Most things looked fine. Our user sync tasks were working fine. \

And then we went to add a new User Directory Connector and noticed that they wouldn't work. Starting throwing password errors. But when we check LDAP, we're getting in just fine.

Entered a support ticket but wanted to see if anyone else is running into it.
