I am new to Qlikview , i have a requirement to compare previous quarter with current quarter when the year is selected.
i almost got the answer but i am facing few issues , i am not sure what i am missing . it will be really helpful if anyone can help me .
Requirement example
Compare 2018 Q1 to 2017 Q4
2018 Q2 to 2018 Q1
2018 Q3 to 2018 Q2
2018 Q4 to 2018 Q3
i got the answer for all the ones highlighted in green by using before function but i have issues with comparing 2018 Q1 to 2017 Q4 . it works when i uses calculated dimension but when i use the same in expression its not working.
in the attached file the ones which i highlighted in red is where i am having issues .
it will be really helpful to know what mistake i am doing so that i can correct it .
