currently active users list and open apps in Qlik Sense
Hi ,
Is there a way to track real-time traffic in Qlik sense environment , like the current users and current open apps ?
Kindly share any related documents / process for live monitoring.
Thank you.

I'm not sure regarding currently-active users, but for a count of active users and a list of open apps, you can use the engine healthcheck:
For users you could get a half-decent count by looking at the license allocation screens in QMC and checking the Last Used field, though this is a bit of a hack. You can also use this section to get a count of active users (by license type). There's probably a way to get a list of active users, but it's not something I've ever needed so I'm not sure how.

Hi @diwakarreddy
Not by default.
you can try adding the session monitor app and use a cicle reload
you can find the app in your Qlik Sense Server and import it
%ProgramData%\Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps\
Hope this helps.

Hi RafaelBarrios ,
Thank you for your response.
I assume session monitor app will give the information about the historical user sessions.
I would like to track current active users who are accessing Qlik at that moment.
Regards,
Diwakar.

Yes, it will show historical data, and that is why i mention cycle reload, so the reload task calls itself everytime it finish and you will always have refreshed data.
another solution could be to take the query from the session monitor app and using it in a new app implementing direct query
Hope this works for you.

Is this a licensed tool or a open source ?
Also, Can we get active sessions with user details and app details or just the count of active sessions?

Hi @vinieme12
I have tried using Qlik-CLI but it just give us the session id and User Info .
I am interested in knowing the apps opened by the user in that particular session.
Kindly let me know if there is way to fetch app details as well.
Regards,
Diwakar
