date format issue

Hello,

I have two fields of calendar month and year which I want to convert ether one of them into a valid time format " MM-YY"

eg Jan-19; Feb-20

two fields of calendar month and year:

[Calendar Year/Month]

[Calendar Year/Month TEXT]

I tried to use date/date# function at load script and expression at chart....all did not return me good result.

My challenge is I can't edit the raw data so I have to make adjustment at either load script or chart function

For unknown reasons, I cant load my qvd file...so attached the excel file instead here hoping may help tease out my problem...
