is there any possible implementation of elastic search  or web services and direct discovery ?

Hi Meriem

I guess not, Direct Discovery (direct select) uses aggregation queries (SQL group by).

But it could make sense to develop an extension which provides a data blending by implementing Ajax calls and renders the response data.
