Hello! I'm sorry if it's obvious, but I've looked through a lot of posts in the community and couldn't find anything. I'm new to qlik sense. I also tried to create a "custom" dimension on my own, but it doesn't work as it should.
I need a filter by date, but this filter should not be tied to a specific dimension (column). I need one date filter for different date columns.
If you are familiar with metabase, there it happens through the creation of the variable {{}}. In my code, I can access this variable from absolutely any column. I can tell where Col1={{}} or where Col2>={{}}.
I have attached a screenshot to make my request clearer. Is it possible to implement this in qlik sense in any way?
Hi ZimaBlue,
I am not quite sure if this is what you are looking for, but to me it seems like you need a canonical calendar. You can have a look at this Blog Post to check if this might be useful to you:

Let me know if it helped.

Oh! I'm sorry, i can't find the entire list of my published questions anywhere in this community.... So I never know which posts have been published and how to get back to them. I was sure that this request was not published for some reason.
I have already solved this problem with variables. But I'll check the link you sent, it looks very useful. Thank you for your help!
No worries, i'm glad you find it useful!
