generic application in qliksense

Hi All, I have a requirement in which I need to come up with a model which can act as generic application and based on client from whom request is coming, the application can display the respective data. For example if a client has a particular id say 27, when it enters the client id as 27, all the data related to that client should get displayed. The application should first ask to enter the client id. Kindly help , as to how to implement this. Thanks

With the Qlik Sense Update of November, there were a few standard extansions you could install, as part of the "Dashboard bundle".

A combination of the "Variable input" and "Button" objects can do what you are looking for. 

Take a look at the following:

If you then press the button ("My Button") will select the value of the variable in the input box, in this case, the value 5 in the field [Project_ID].
