is there a way to view the underlying data of a chart/graph prior to exporting to excel

For instance in qlik sense, if the user selects a specific bar on a bar graph, is there a way for them to view the actual underlying data within the app or would they have to download to excel first?  Is there a view that would replicate what the export to excel would look like?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Yes, add a table object with the fields you're interested in.
