preselected value in Qlik Sense

Hi Folks,

i have got a situation:

i have my Qlik Sense file, which consists of 4 App, the first 3 have a field: Year where i can select years,

my question: i opend the 4 app, can i predselect the Year: 2017. i mean if i open my 4th app, in the listbox: Year shoul be selected the Year: 2017

Does have anybody any idea or suggestions how to solve this issue

Hi Omar,

your thread does look great, but i am looking for another way of proceeding without extensions.

What is your opinion, it is possible to solve that without extensions

hi Beck,

you can use a combination of if condition to check if something is selected in your year filter and if not, force a selection using set analysis in the resulting chart.

Check this link ‌ omarbensalem‌ has mentioned for more details of a sample code  I have provided.
