using a different calendar for sales and forecast

Hi All

In the following scenario, i have a model that uses a fact sale date aggregated by months and sales forecast data aggregated by months as well - please see the attached schema

now the client asked me to make the fact and forecast be separated so that the user will be able to filter different year_month for Fact and Forecast Data - what is the best practice solution for this issue?

That's an option.

I just canceled the key table and made 2 date fields :one for forecast, the other for sales.

Thank you for your help
