High Five - February 2022, Ruggero Piccoli

ruggero piccoli.pngRuggero P.jpg

Every month, there is an element of excitement to decide who we want to feature. This month it was apparent who deserved the High Five. This person is our very own Qlikkie who leads by example in the Community. You will often find him answering questions and creating valuable documents for Qlik NPrinting. He has contributed close to 4K posts, provided over 600 solutions, given credit where it is due, and received countless kudos! It is with great pleasure to announce that February's High Five goes to Ruggero Piccoli.

Ruggero is a test engineer at Qlik, and previously he worked as an IT manager in manufacturing companies where he managed some business intelligence adoption projects. In 2008 he started to work in the R&D of a QlikView consulting firm combining his passions for software and data analysis. In 2010 he was one of the founders of Vizubi, the company that introduced Qlik NPrinting to the market.

Ruggero believes Qlik Community is a great place to gain awareness about how customers use our products in ways sometimes we cannot imagine. In addition, it is a great place to get customer feedback that helps grow the documentation and software quality. He enjoys helping people find solutions to their problems, which sometimes requires a deep knowledge of the product because they are very specific. Ruggero hopes that this helps gain wider adoption of the software. In addition, immediately after Qlik's acquisition of NPrinting, it was essential to share knowledge as quickly and widely as possible. The Qlik Community enables hundreds of other people who have the same problem to read an answer to a question.

Ruggero likes to travel and discover new places, so he rarely visits the same place twice. In addition, he loves to shoot videos and has managed a YouTube channel about aviation for the past ten years. @Ruggero_Piccoli @Melissa_Potvin

You are a true legend @Ruggero_Piccoli. Congratulations!

I dont remember when we spoke for the first time but I bet it was about 8-10 years ago. It was cool to talk photography and on the same occasion fix few issues which I couldn't handle by myself with then NPrinting 12... I think...

I have learned a lot from you and I am still learning. If I cannot figure something out with NPrinting you are mine "go-to" man.

Thanks a lot for your contribution, professionalism and willingness to help.

cheers!
