What do you want the button to do ?
There is a good extension example called Toolbar that shows how to create buttons. If you installed Qlik Sense Desktop you will find it here: C:\Users\<Name>\Documents\Qlik\Examples\Extensions\ToolBar
Before you can use it you need to copy the folder to this location
C:\Users\<Name>\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Extensions\ToolBar
Hi, probably there are 2 ways:
1. You can use KPI object - only 1 function - > move to sheet X
2. Make own extension - for example the button with some function... Playing with Extensions in Sense
Hi Stefan - love this extension. It's really slick.
I have a question though - I have a button called "yesterday" and managed to get it to work fine.
I'm trying to implement a "Last Month" button, e.g. March (without having to bring in another column with month in my data set) and have tried to set 2 actions e.g. =First Day of Month to Last Day of Month and cannot get the button to work.
Any ideas how I can achieve this utilising my existing datetime stamp I already pull in?
Thanks
Immy
In qlik sense 3.0(desktop).. i am unable to locate
When I try to import this extension to my Qlik Sense server I get an error. It appears in the Dev Hub but when I go to open it I get an error saying it is incomplete and cannot be opened and that wbfolder.wbl file is missing??
Very keen to use this extension!
