How to restrict multiple selections in search box?

Hi,

Can we restrict multiple selections in search box?

Issue :  I have product name field in my search box, the user want to have privilege to select only one product at a time. If he select multiple products, he prefer to have the values for just the top product in the selected list.

How can we achieve this?

you create a listbox with the product name field

select a value

goes to the list box properties and check the always one selected value

now the user can select only one value at the time in the field

I want this in search object not in list box..

yes but once you created the listbox

now the field is in one selected value in the whole model

so even in a search object you'll be able to select only one value
