Hi,
I have a requirement to reload QVW after QVD's got refreshed. These QVW will be using this refreshed QVW's. These QVD's are creating based on one more QVW file.
Is there any way to reload QVW file.
Regards,
Kumar
The final QVW should be reloaded based on the trigger - in this case it should be successful reload of the QVW that generates your QVD's. In Publisher you can trigger QVW reload upon multiple triggers.
Btw - I'm slightly lost with the explanation given by you, apologies... Maybe you can name the above processes like A, B and C so we all can understand clearly what should be the reload hierarchy in your case?
Hi,
Let me explain you here.
I have a First.QVW file which will generate QVD's and it is triggered as soon as informatica jobs completed.
Once it is done Second.QVW file has to be reload which should use QVD's generated by First.QVW file.

Kumar
Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion.
Is there any way to do this through QMC.
In that case, the reload task for Second.QVW shouldn't be planned on the successful finish of First.QVW?
If the paths to QVD's in Second.QVW are pointing to the same location as the STORE commands from First.QVW, I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work.
On the reload schedule have the model that uses the qvd files to reload to run after the model than creates the qvd files. Have you seen Qlikview Facility Managers, it has 5 or 6 models preparing qvd'a d the last model then imports qvd's so this can be done. The model only reloads after the qvd creator model has successfully run
If you are using Reload option from Server,
Then you have option to trigger the next task on the basis of successful completion of exiting task.
This will take care, even if your QVD generator failed, it will not trigger your qvw/final application.
you can select dependency on qvd successful then you can schedule for reload of qvw.
