Hello,
I've got the following issue with the set analysis sintax:
In the first expression I am successfully excluding values but I am hardcoding the expression making it unresponsive to user selections.
In the second expression I am also excluding values but the QV syntax check is pointing out a mistake. Although it works OK, when complemented with other expressions its behaviour turns inaccurate.
Does anybody got a clue of what I am not doing correctly here?
Thanks in advance.
You must be using a older version of QV where it used to show those red lines when you use -=. This was fixed sometime in SR8-10 I think.
Relax, sometimes "-=" brings this type of message

Hi,
This is a bug from the syntax checker of qlikview. It works Ok.

Hi Hernan. Yes, this bug happens but you must see up where say "Expression OK". If say it, your expression it's okey!

There is a bug in the syntax check -=.
Hi,
I think you have to move the curly bracket close to the equal sign (-={}) there shouldn't be gap.
Also consider upgrading to latest version of QlikView if you haven't done that
Hi,
Exclude and Include ,
-={}
+={}
This marks in red color by the editor . But desired output will be acquired.
Check out.
