Connect Qlik to Cisco Switch

Does anyone know how to connect and read data using Qlik Sense from Cisco Switch? Has anyone experienced this before?

i want to be able to retrieve the number of ports up.

Try searching for SNMP tools that can retrieve that information for the switch and export it to a text file. Then you can use Qlikview to read that text file.

Is there any possible way to read it directly from QlikView? Since it has to be near/real time.

Not afaik. Perhaps you should into another tool like Nagios or Cacti
