Hi,
I'm looking to implement Qlik to be able to report order references from a database. These will be converted to URL's and then when clicking them will launch the associated ordering application where you can view and edit details. Is it possible to get Qlik to re-use the previous Java application session that you viewed your previous data in or will it force a new session to be created for subsequent views?
Regards,
Rob
It will create a new one. QlikView has no idea who will be opening and handling the new URL That will happen entirely outside of your QlikView client. Depending on which client you use, you may be able to launch the second url in the same or a different browser session.
But that all depends on you anvironment.
