Hi, I would like to know is there any way that we can authorize a user without using QMC. i.e., user roles has to assigned out of the box without using QMC. Any help or document that you can provide will be great. Thanks!
Using NTFS permissions and groups at filesystem level along with section access in your document. While maintenance will require more time, you don't have to use the QMC.
Any other way of doing it is via the QMC / API (e.g.: webticketing). There is no such concept of "roles" in QlikView, as there is in Qlik Sense.
