Issue with Access Point using Safari for Windows

Using Safari for windows OS to enter to the accesspoint doesn't work, only shows the main page but not shows the little login window just stays with doing nothing, but using IE, Firefox or Chrome it works perfectly, im using QVS 10 SR3.

Does anyone have the same problem?

or someone knows if this is a bug?

Or anybody can tell me if safari for windows is not compatible for Qlikview accesspoint??

Thanks!

P.D. Using Safari on Iphone i can enter to access point with no problem using the same network.

One of our users works with a MacBook and it worked just fine in the beginning with QVS10 SR2. After the MacBook was upgraded to OS X Lion the user is facing the same problem. He is being prompted for login but after 3 attempts he gets the portal screen without any QV-apps. In the portal screen you don't see who's logged in.

I tried it with a W7 machine using IE/ Firefox/ Chrome and it works just fine! After that I installed Safari (5.1 – 7534.50) and it also doesn't work.

All suggestions/ ideas are welcome.

Thanks ionut for your reply. How do you by the way know it's a known bug? Because before my posting I've checked if this was a known error but I couldn't find anything. Also a search on this bug id now doesn't give me that information. Isn't that kind of info available on the customer portal??

I just had the same issue -- good to know it's not just us!

We found this issue is due to some changes in the Javascript engine in the new Safari 5.1 (on Mac OS X Lion and iOS 5, also available on Snow Leopard and Windows).

Eagerly waiting for a fix or a service release of QV! Safari 5.1 will be the only browser for most people on the iPad with iOS 5 when it will be released!

Does that mean we can't use Qlikview on Ipad either using Safari until the fix is released?  Sorry don't want to use Ipad app.  Recently upgraded Qlikview to v10 SR3 9065 (non-public release due to printed report issue in 9061) and trying Mac / Ipad.  Mac is working fine with Chrome and Firefox but no luck with Safari (5.1).
