use of buttons for the purpose of creating a drop down

hi

i have created a document having pivot tables,multiboxes.....all my chatrs are categorised on the basis of allowed and paid amount.

i want to create a button which on click will show two separate buttons in drop down and the user wont be able to select both allowed and paid charts at the same time...
