there are a lot of mysterious things that may cause the famous "General Script Error". A fews things I often bump into that you can check:
- If a SUB definition contains an error, QV won't tell you but will abort all processing. Sometimes silently, sometimes with GSE.
- CALLing a SUB that doesn't exist may also cause a GSE but I'm not sure.
- Errors in Section Access always cause the execution to halt, but they won't let you know why. Rather obvious, that one.
