I am quite new to Qlik and have no real knowledge yet. So I apologize for what is probably a very simple question for you.

I would like to make an evaluation where I would like to count the number of our invoices using the count function.

The problem is that the same field which is called "Document No." also contains delivery note numbers.

I only want to count the invoices that start with AR....

Which settings should I make?

Recently we tried to upgrade our Qlik Sense from May 2023 to August 2023 (IR). The upgrade went well for DEV and QA servers. But it failed on production servers. We had to restore production servers with backed up AMI. Now we are investigating the reason why it failed. We have realized that we made a mistake when upgrading QS production which has two nodes: We stopped services on both nodes and then ran installation on two nodes at the same time. We know it is incorrect. But why did it cause problem? I am writing a report and need to gather deeper information.

Based on installation log files, I can tell the failure occurred at ServiceDispatcher step. Error occurred when it tried to create schema 'qlik_notifier_service'. I checked the log file for the successful installation on DEV server. When it tried to create schema 'qlik_notifier_service' there, it skipped this step because "Schema 'qlik_notifier_service' already exists" (the sentence in log). Why did the installation not skip it during production installation?

The attached ServiceDispatcher_installation_logs.txt contains related content from log files.

We need to make sure there is nothing else which caused installation failure. Please advise.

I am trying to get the data from previous month and also that has a specific condition. I am using this formula:

count({<Column.Variable = {'Condition'}>}Column.Variable), count(InMonth(Date.DateAppointment,today(),-1), [Record_ID]))

I can use both conditions separate but cannot find the way them together to get the records for that specific condition for the previous month.

A bit at a loss while trying to implement a specific set of actions on a button click. 

I have a table, i have some filters that can be applied. I have a button that selects just the ID after filters are selected and clear the rest of the filters. I want yet another button that does the opposite. It needs to exclude from the selected accounts from the previous selection. Using 'select exclusion' works, but for the whole table. The previous selection is overwritten. 

As in the picture attached, i want to use the filters to get a subset of the 7 ids already selected. Let's say number 1 and 3. The Exclude selection button should exclude 1 and 3 and lock the final selection to 2,4,5,6,7. At the moment it returns all IDs in the table(which ar emore than 7) except 1,3.

Any advice?

I have migrated a .nsq file from NP-v16 to the Qlik Nprinting 2021 and changes to reports.

Now i want to import only one specific Report from .nsq zip file to overwrite the recent changes.

When i clicked on Import NP 16 Report(as in below screenshot), it shows all the other report except the report I want to replace. 

Any suggestions, please.

Hi all,

I am attempting to use the Web Connector 2.1.0 SharePoint 365 connector on a server and it is proving quite difficult. The SharePoint connector is working fine when running on a desktop machine, I think because of single sign on, but when I put it on a server we have issues. I can still connect to the SharePoint environment with no issues at all but when I try it with the connector following this guide Office 365 Sharepoint Connector For QlikView And Qlik Sense - QVSource: The QlikView & Qlik Sense API Connector (Docs)  it throws up an error:

Looking around on the web it seems to suggest that it's not able to connect to SharePoint but I cannot tell if it is something to do with the proxy or the connector itself.

The same method above works as soon as I take it off the server.

Does anyone have any suggestions that I can try out or any advice?

what i want is to make an expression in which measure VALUE contains these causidics:
if it contains the word 'PERCENTAGE' then the calculation of %(IMP_VALUE) is done with format '#,##0.00%',
if it contains the word 'AVERAGE' then avg(IMP_VALUE) is calculated with format '#,##0.00',
and if it does not contain either of these two words you do sum(IMP_VALUE) with format '#,##0.00'.
so that when you activate the option to show the total of the entity (CLV_ENT) it reflects the corresponding data.

Hi am new to the APIs and need some help.

My requirement is load the last user logon date and time into another app. I know this information is available in the Entitlement analyser but I am trying to get this basic info into another application. I only need

User email | User Name | Last logon date.

Is there a simple way to call this from another application in the saas environment?
