Documents explaining how to use Qlik Community and its features.
Two years after the re-platforming and relaunch of our Qlik Community we have successfully completed the roll out of many design improvements. The changes offer an updated look and feel and improved user experience. Starting in late 2020 the Qlik Community began on a 3-phase redesign effort as follows:
Phase 1 - New creative assets - sitewide update to banners and inside pages
Phase 2 - New Home Page, Unified Search and new Top Level page
Phase 3 - New creative assets for blogs and groups and resources page
We hope that you enjoy the updates and welcome your thoughts and feedback, as always.
See you online,
Melissa Potvin
Director, Qlik Community

Today, the Qlik Community Team rolled out new rank names to our community in Phase 1 of an update to the Gamification system. You can read more about the project goals in this blog post.
As part of the project, Qlik Community members received new rank names as well as new rank images. The names were applied automatically as part of the launch effort. There is nothing for you to do. The new rank names are as follows:
The rank names were created so as to be universally understood and easy to understand. I'd like to thank the Qlik Community MVPs for their feedback and Qlik's Brand and Creative Services Team for designing the new images.
To move from one rank to the next requires a progression in the level of your activity on our community. We do not share the algorithm used behind the scenes. What we can tell you is that we measure activity based on: Likes, Replies, Solutions, and Topics started. The behavior we encourage in this community is members helping other members. As was the case with the prior ranking system, roman numeral progression between ranks are utilized (eg. Creator I, Creator II, Creator III). This enables us to give credit without having members wait so long to progress to the next level.
We know and understand there is SO much more we can do with gamification. This is only the beginning. Please be sure to read the blog post so that you can review and understand all the details.
See you online!

Set Analysis
Set analysis is one of the most powerful and often misunderstood features of the associative model. And although you can uncover incredible insights in Qlik without writing a single line of code, set analysis allows you to write clean, powerful expressions that would be difficult or impossible to perform otherwise. In fact, learning set analysis was really the light bulb moment that changed everything for me. Exploring set analysis revealed the true potential of Qlik and unlocked the full capabilities of the associative engine. It is also a topic our customers want to learn more about.
So, we recently created a tips and tricks webinar focusing on set analysis and how to get the most value from your analytics. During the Q&A there were multiple requests to share the app and assets used during the demonstration. So, I am sharing the app here with the community. If you missed the chance to participate in the webinar the first time, you are not out of luck. Just reach out to your sales rep or solution architect for information on the next showing.
