URL to QMC without the port number

Hi All

Our  Document Admins would like to connect to QMC, where the URL would be

https:// ourserver/QMC instead of https:// ourserver:4780/QMC

Is there a possibilty, how to enable this?

It is probably a config change somwere in the XMLs, but I have not found it anywhere.

maybe you can achieve this via Url forwarding instead of changing the QlikView server configuration which may lead to several issues.

Url forwarding is very simple in IIS.

I have tried it via the Friendly URL change. And it does not work, t works only for the AP.

I have read the replies in all the threads and it seems that the answer is:

"..maybe it's better to stick to default names, an forward port 80 in the router via NAT to port 4780. Then you can use the external url http://realdomainname/qmc‌"

As I have https and on port 443 we have the Access Point, I think I will stick with the URL with port as I do not want to harm our production.
