Hello,
I Manage a Sense site for a large corporate client. They set up a site but found they didn't have the manpower or knowledge to properly set up a site. Here's my issue:
During the setup a LDAP connection was created. But because the connection string was not properly defined, the imported all the known user accounts into Sense instead of the users in the division. This wouldn't be such a problem if the client wasn't one of the bigger banks in the region. They imported 360K users.
I deleted the User Directory connection and tikt the 'Delete all associated users' checkbox. Unfortunately not all users where deleted and i'm still stuck with 340K users that need to be deleted.
Would it be possible to directly delete these from the repsitory?
Any thoughts?
Sincerely,
Erik Venema
Deleting tyhis amount of users manualy is not an option. I'm looking for something like
Delete * from users;
Hi,
You can create the AD group filter, and add the users which is necessary for you...that will help you..
If this is still unresolved... You might want to ask Qlik support for help editing the postgres database.
And regarding the LDAP filter, I struggled a bit getting it right but now it works. My settings in the UDC:
Path: ldap://192.168.1.200
Additional LDAP Filter: (memberof=CN=qlik,CN=Users,DC=mycompany,DC=com)
In my case, 'qlik' is a domain-local security group.
Hope this helps.
Hi Erik,
Did you find a solution for this? I have the same problem.
