Change location of Content Libraries in Qlik Sense 2.0.7 - IMPORTANT

Good Day Everyone!

We have a D drive attached to our Qlik Sense server. It is HUGE, but our C drive is pretty limited. So it drives the need of having the Content Libraries in another disk.

Is there a setting we add to make this change? I know this option is not configurable over QMC.

Thank you for your help!

That must be it.  The earlier section of this thread was when 'synchronized persistence' was the only option.   Are you looking for steps to move your shared persistence folder ? Are you running multinode ?

Yep

Are you running multinode ?

Yep

I thought I remember a separate  but similar thread where someone explained a process involving adjusting the settings.ini, restarting stuff, etc etc

Unrelated question: (I know I'm turning this into a "support" thread. Please advise if I should transplant elsewhere)

It looks like the Postgres Database has the AppContent hashed and stored in the PostgreSQL. Does anyone know what hashing algorithms are used?

    "Name" character varying(256),

    "EngineObjectId" text,

    "ContentHash" text,

Why isn't it recommended to change the location of the content folder?
