We run a standalone QVS on a hosted server on the cloud. My current question is pretty broad but I can't find any documentation on the matters of QVS maintanence and wondered if anyone can offer any advice on the subject?
Basically, we want to ensure that we are getting the best performance out of the server as possible. I'm worried that there could be some memory cache or something that could affect the performance when large datasets are involved. Is there a way to completely purge the memory from QVS or to at least check what is going on in terms of memory availability and that sort of thing?
I guess the overarching question is - how do I know my QVS is performing to spec and how do I 'clean' out the system to get the most out of it? What are some of the key watchouts?
