Dynamic CALs assignment enquiry

Hi,

I want to know if I choose Dynamic CALs assignment for document CALs and named CALs, I know that the server will assign the CALs for the first user to use it. My question is, will the server release that CALs for that user who has granted but not use it anymore?

QlikView doesn't release any licenses automatically.

If you'd like QlikView to do something like that you could try building an application using the Powertools.

How about if I assigned some documents with document CALs, but haven't assign it to a particular user, will a user use a document CALs automatically? (provided that I haven't choose Dynamic CAL assignment)

If dynamic CAL assignment isn't selected then no CALs will be assigned automatically.
