Hi Everybody,
I need you guys to help me connect QlikView 11 to FoxPro database. This version of FoxPro database doesnt allow export of data into any format but its own format .DBF. FYI, the client runs the FoxPro database on Windows XP on a standalone PC. I collected the data in the .DBF format and tried loading it into QlikView but was not successful because the data displayed in QlikView did not make any meaning.
Guys, I need you to help me out on this as my client is getting impatience with me. FYI, am new to QlikView and need to learn more from this community.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks very much in advance.

Hi,
you can use the QlikView JDBC Connector with the HXTT DBF driver:

This a very appropriate solution.

Thanks Ralf. I will try it and see what results it gives me. I will let you know if it works.

Unfortunately I never got this MS OLEDB driver to work with QV11, it's crashing..
- Ralf
Thanks Pablo. I will try it and let you know if it works. FYI, this version of FoxPro is not like Visual FoxPro from Microsoft. I tried all those drivers available in Excel and Access but none of them were helpful. Please never give up try and send me a work around this problem as your help is very much appreciated.
Thanks.

I think this is only a matter of configuration. Just send me the details: ralf.becher@tiq-solutions.de

Ralf is correct. when I use QlikView 10 to connect to FoxPro using OLE DB, it works fine but when I use QlikView 11, it always crashes and stop working. I have submitted a case for that.
Here I found a articel. Hope it can help you.
