I have the following scenario:
I need to have 2 seperate accesspoints.
First one must authenticate NTLM (with browser authentication)
Second Accesspoint needs to authenticate Custom Users (with Web form)
I'm not able to install a second webserver on a separate machine.
So is it possible to run for instance: QVWS and IIS to host the 2 accesspoints with different authentication settings?
I guess both services are running in the same port (Setting service and QVWS). so at a time you can start only one service.
Yes, the setting service is used for eiter QVWS or IIS. It cannot manage settings for both.
Hopefully their is a workaround for that.
Honestly, I don't think two webservers in the same machine will work as they would still share config and log files (c:\programdata\qliktech\webserver).
You definitely need a 2nd machine.
There is really no way to do that. In IIS you can recreate all the virtual folders and try to change the setting is IIS. However, the QlikView server may not support what you are trying to do.
I'm also coming to that conclusion.
I've done something before before v11 that's why I asked the question here.
Version 11 doesn't support this setup anymore, I think.
