Can I stop gap interpolation in a line chart?

I have a line chart on a daily axis where most of the data points happen at least once per day.  Groovy.  But there are also some events which only happen on weekends, with no value for the week.  QlikView interpolates the gap, drawing a big line from Saturday to Sunday.  In some cases this would be exactly what I'd like, but not here.

Can I disable this feature?  I thought maybe Presentation | Suppress Missing would do it, but it has no detectable impact.

Try suppress zeros

Hmm, too bad that thread didn't use the "interpolation" tag or similar, I would've extended that conversation.

What's your solution?  I see your sample file, and I see that it works, but I'm not keen on allowing unknown macros to run.

"Suppress Zero-Values" has no effect, as the data is missing/null, not zero.
