Hi there,
I'm trying to access the workbench on my Sense server, but I can't seem to reach it with my browser. When trying to reach it I get a 404 message as seen in the attached file. This is despite the fact that the Hub, QMC and Single features all works like a charm through the browser. It seems like I need to permit access to the workbench from somewhere, but I do not know where this should be done. The QMC was my first guess but to no avail.
Has anyone experienced the same issue or had success with the workbench on the Sense server?
Thanks in advance, have a great day.
/Marc
Hi Marc,
The reason it doesn't work on Qlik Sense Server is because Workbench functionality is only available in Qlik Sense Desktop:
"If you want to make use of Qlik Sense Workbench, you need to have Qlik Sense Desktop installed."
Hi Denis,
Thank you for your swift reply. Do you know if this functionality is planned to be included in future versions ?
Hi Marc - currently it is in Qlik Sense Desktop only, with consideration and discussion for the full Qlik Sense platform.
If you can, please mark the appropriate replies as helpful / correct so our team and other members know that your question(s) has been answered to your satisfaction.

Hi Mike, any update on when the Workbench will be added to Sense Server?
Hi Simon
Workbench was enabled in Sense Enterprise 1.1 (possibly earlier, but I cant recall). I just tested with the pre-release version of 2.0 and it is also enabled there. I expect it will continue to be be an integral part of Sense Enterprise moving forward.
I have QlikSense server 1.0.2 and I have the same error message of Marc.
Does workbench work on the last release of QlikSense server (2.0.1)?
Just to confirm:
- Workbench has been introduced in Qlik Sense 1.0 in Qlik Sense Desktop
- In Qlik Sense 1.1 it was then also working in Qlik Sense Server
- It is also available in Qlik Sense 2.0.1
- And you will also see similar functionality in Qlik Sense 2.1, but expect some improvements then 😉
Regards
Stefan
Yes, it does ...
Hi Cristina
Yes. I just tested with 2.01. Workbench works fine. Ensure you use https://<your server name>/workbench (note the https)
