Kiran,

Are you trying to export manually or by macro?

What limitations you mean? in terms of no of rows?

Refer https://community.qlik.com/thread/104927  and https://community.qlik.com/thread/30256

hi siva sankar,

Yes we are doing manual export by using the icon in the caption of the chart and were unable to get a excel file when the no of rows in the chart are more than 65000, once a csv file is created for the same but it took a long time.

Thanks

Hi Kiran,

What i follow is if the no. of records is high.

Right Click on the chart----Export----Save in the .qvd format ----Then i will take the qvd in one of the test application

Then i will write small code like this :

Table:

Load * from  xxx.qvd;

store Table into D:\a.txt(txt,delimiter is '|');

It will take less time. I have done for this around 10 laks manually it takes 15 mins and as per above activity its taking 2 mins.

I hope its helps.

Thanks,

Ajay

Thanks all but I am using div integration of my charts into a web application and using excel export option on the title of the charts and was unsuccessful in exporting charts with more than 65000 rows.

Thanks

Hi Kiran,

I think this is not problem with Qlikview. Please increase the row numbers of your Excel in your machine. 65000 is the default maximum rows fixed by Excel by itself. So increase it and try.
