Installed Qlikview iPad app in my iPad but all I am getting is Qlikview for iPhone. Do I need any other app or something else to download? Should I use Safari for iPad? Any comment, idea?
Thanks

I don't have either client, but my understanding is that the iPad client is pretty much a direct port of the iPhone client. I don't believe the iPad client has been changed to take advantage of the larger screen. You could consider using Safari on an iPad. We've experimented with it and had fairly good results for simple applications. However, some basic things don't work, such as scrolling the screen up and down. Also, there is mixed information coming out of QlikTech about whether or not Safari on an iPad (or iPhone) is a supported client or not. Whether it is or not, my understanding is that they realize people are using it, and are trying to improve the functionality. But if something doesn't work for you with Safari on the iPad, you may not be able to file a bug report. Still, you can always file it as a "feature request".
The Qlikview iPad app is called "Qlikview HD".

Hi Rob,
I have accessing the QV documents on iPad using the QlikView HD app, but the experience was the same (one object at a time is being displayed; can't view the complete dashboard). Am I missing something from a configuration standpoint?
The safari experience with Zfp is good in terms of look and feel. Am still picking things up and I face the following issues:
a. layout needs some work
b.minimized objects cant be restored
c. am missing the right click functionality
d. Caption icons are non-functional(can't print or export to excel)
Any success in the points above?
Please let me know.
Regards
Amit
Amit,
You are not missing anything, the QlikView app for iOS is a universal app, and the iPad experience is similar to the iPhone experience.
As far as the AJAX experience with Mobile Safari browser goes, this is an active project in QlikView labs. See this blog post for more information:
