Hallo,
is it possible to sort and filter the values from a field if it's uses as level.
My table looks like this:
Name | Sort | Display |
---|---|---|
A_Name | 2 | 1 |
B_Name | 1 | 0 |
C_Name | 4 | 1 |
D_Name | 3 | 1 |
Now I need to create a report with 'Name' as level. This works so far, but I need to sort the names by the field 'Sort' (currently are sorted alphabetically) and filter out the names where Display is 0. So is there a way to change the sort order/method and use a filter?
Thanks for your help.
1) Sort order is based on the QlikView sort order for the dimension
2) You could do this by using a chart in rather than a dimension in the level and applying set analysis to block filtering. I think that would work.

Of course this is possible.
1) Build the report with the level(s)
2) Build a filter using the same dimension(s)
3) Apply the filter to a report, recipient or task
4) Put the report into the task
5) Schedule the task by adding it to a job which is in a schedule or alternately, run the task manually.

Hallo,
thank you for the fast answer, but think this will not work because I need the same dimension (Name) as level a second time, but without the filter, in the same report.
The next porblem is the sort order. I don't think a filter affects the sort order.
