i got a requirement of SSO to qlikview , we have a portal designed under HTML how to pass the portal username and password to qlikview portal.. i read about wed tickets but i could able to figure out how it is useful for html based design.

Hello,
We could implement Webticketing with our authentication system using IIS. However, the attached document indicates the following limitation in Page 10

"A current limitation is that the QVWS or IIS used in steps 2 and 3 (i.e. the server you collect the ticket from and the server you redirect the user to) must be the same machine."

Does it mean the authentication system/Portal and Qlikview needs to be hosted on the same server? Thanks in advance for any help!
