TAC Configuration

Greetings:

Context: I have two TAC servers: A and B (failover server). Both servers are connected to a single Database as instructed by the Talend documentation for High Availability.

Issue: After completing the TAC Configuration on Server B, I fill in the same config on Server A. However, this invalidates the configs on Server B only for those fields which require a password. (Namely the Artifact Repo and Git)

Therefore, during failover, Server B is unable to connect to the Artifact Repo and complete the task.

Question: How to configure both TAC servers to enable failover execution?

Hope I was able to explain. I can provide screenshots if required.

Solution: Copy the "configuration.properties" files from the tac directory of your active node to all passive nodes.

RCA: The encrypt/ decrypt key for each Talend Install is different.
