task execution table in tac

Hi All,

whats the purpose of TASKEXECUTIONHISTORY in TAC, as i know its stores the data for the job executed in TAC

correct me if am wrong ?

i wanted to know because recently after restarting my tac server, i have noticed in that this job is exectued 60000 times in a hour, 

so i would like to know what it actually does and why 60000 in a hour its getting executed?

Hello,

The execution history will record scheduled job history.

For your issue, is there any message in your job execution log?

If the job is scheduled in Job conductor, you can find the job execution log in this path: <Job Server install dir>\TalendJobServersFiles\jobexecutions\logs.

Hello xdshi, can we purge this table without risk except loose task history in TAC ?

We have an update on this table, but sometimes session is freezing and need to be killed...

There 300.000 records in that table at this moment, it's not huge but not few.
