Behaviours of Pivot Table

Hello Qlik Community,

I am looking to understand more on the behaviours of Pivot Table:

1. My Pivot Table is built with two dimensions(One parent to many children with many parents) and measure is defined with the formula of Count(child). In addition to this, I also used Pivot Table’s background colour expression to determine the colour for both dimensions. Is the parent’s background colour a summation (or roll up) of the children’s background colour expression ignoring the parent’s background colour expression?
2. If yes, how can we prevent the parent dimension’s summation calculation from happening?
