Can I use alternate states with on-demand app generation (ODAG)?

Hi,

I am building an ODAG selection app and I want the user to be able to choose two separate selections in the same field using alternate states.

How can I use ODAG binding expressions $(odag_FIELDNAME) in the template app to retrieve the field values for both states?

I don't think you can. ODAG takes the default state and I don't think that can be changed or worked around. If you need the user to make two selections on the same field, either duplicate the field or have the users pick multiple values from within the field and pass those (you can then break them down in the template app).
