Country Geo Data

Some countries are not automatically identified and correctly tagged, in order to be used in a map, while most of the countries are actually fine. The field that is being automatically tagged is containing the name of the country (e.g. USA)

I have this issue for the following countries (that to me seem properly named): Algeria, Morocco, Jordan

Hi @MarcoBianchi ,

Some countries are not shown by name (geocoding)? Or is same https://community.qlik.com/t5/New-to-Qlik-Sense/Name-of-coordinates/m-p/1606245#M142041

It is about geocoding. Most of the countries are recognized (just using the name of the country in a "country" field) as you can see in the map. But the one I mentioned are not recognized / are not coloured in the map

hi @MarcoBianchi  ,

I have a "WorldKMLData.qvd" which have lat,long.

you can use it with your data for proper visulization.

NOTE: Map your country with "WorldCountries.FullName".

Hope it will work for you.
