Create Qlik sense master items

Can any end user create/update master items? Is there a work around for creating master items in published apps?

short answer: no

an end user can only create MI in an unpublished app (and republishing afterwards)

i guess there's a dev way to do it:

but this would require to create some tool that allows this.

The master item is default in the main application and only the user that has a unpublished app can edited it.
