I would like to be able to create a super dimension to group multiple dimensions. To explain further, I'm working with the following fields:
Private_AL
Good_Prod_AL
Serv_prod_AL
Which provide # of jobs in each sector over time. I would like to group these fields and use the grouped fields as a single dimension in Qlik Sense.
Doing this would allow me to add it in the filter and select one at a time to chart in a graph one by one, or to chart simultaneously in a scatterplot for a given point in time.
Is this possible within Qlik Sense?
Thank you,
Jessica
Do you mean grouping as a Drill Down or Cyclic?
I'm not sure, but I would like to click on a field name in a list of fields and dynamically change the values in a graph or chart.
Thank you,
Jessica
In that case,
You can do it in 2 ways.
1. Create a list of Alternate Dimension/Alternate Measures - It will allow you to select dimension and measures from list.
2. Use Qlik Branch extension to create buttons with desired values using variables and use those variables in DImension/Measures.
I hope it will help.
