Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new to Qlik Sense and currently building dashboards for my organization. I’ve noticed that the layout of my dashboards changes depending on the screen resolution of the monitor being used to view them.
Specifically, I’m using several KPIs within a Container object, and on lower-resolution screens, the layout appears to shift or break in unexpected ways. In some cases, objects that were neatly aligned on one screen appear stacked or misaligned on another.
My current fix is by using the browser zoom out function. But I’m wondering:
Is this expected behavior due to Qlik Sense’s responsive design?
Does using multiple KPIs inside a container cause layout issues across different resolutions?
Is there a recommended best practice to ensure more consistent layouts across various screen sizes?
Any tips on how to structure containers or grid layouts to be more resolution-independent?
I’d really appreciate any insights, recommendations, or examples from your experience. Thanks in advance!
The layout will per default change based on device and screen resolution. Who to look and interact on 4K computer screen will differ compared to how it is on a 6'' mobile device.
You could however get around the responsiveness issues by defining the sheet size to a fixed size in the sheet properties: Customizing sheet size
