What is the difference between providing the Direct Query functionality with an interface (specify tables & joins) and the Direct Query (Dimension, Measures, Details, Detach) syntax in the Data Load Editor?
I've seen a few examples where it can be implemented through the Data Connections screen, selecting Menu, then 'Direct Query', then specifying tables through the interface, and also where the user simply codes the Direct Query syntax and specifies the dimensions, measures, details, etc.
What is the difference between implementing Direct Discovery/Direct Query in these two ways?
