Display message when reload of data is finished

Hello everyone, 

I have kept data reload button at the front end on the dashboard. At the moment it does not show any message whether the reload has been finished or no. 

I would like the message box appear and state that, " Data reload has been finished, proceed viewing report" for the user.

Can anyone please help as I have constraint for all the extension, i cannot download any extension for this.

All I have is button to execute this task.

Sorry Don't think this is possible without an extension.

I would address this with by adding a last reloaded date and time next to button and if that  updates it would indicate the reload happened.
